This guide will show you how to get all 120 Heroes (Characters) in Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes.
There are 2 MISSABLE heroes in the game:
Aleior: Make sure you recruit her as soon as Marisa joins you. If you continue the story, Marisa will soon move and you will be locked out of the side quest that gets you Aleior.
Leene: She will only join you if you have all the other 119 heroes by the time you defeat Dux on the battlefield near the end of the game I recommend you recruit all remaining heroes (excluding story-related heroes) after Yulin joins the party.
Here are all 120 heroes in order.
Nowa, Garr, Mio & Lian: You will obtain these 4 heroes automatically at the start of the game.
Iugo. Found inside the eastmost building in Eltisweiss once Ymir asks you to find more watchers.
Mellore. You will first cross her on the central stairs in Eltisweiss once Ymir asks you to find more watch members. Then head to the Eltisweiss entrance to see her again. Finally, head to Redthroat Ridge to find her just past the first save point. After talking to her, get to the end of the area and beat the boss to recruit her.
Yume. Talk to the old lady in Werne Village after recruiting Mellore. Then go to Redthroat Ridge and talk to Yume to recruit her.
Kuroto. Found in the south-west corner of Altverden Village. He will only join if you have defeated 3 wild boars. You can find them in Redthroat Ridge.
Francesca. Found in the north-west corner of Altverden Village.
Yusuke. Found in Fort Xialuke.
Ymir, Sumire, Cassandra, Kogen, Yuthus & Zabi. They will join you automatically when unlocking your HQ during the story.
Gocteau, Iris & Caine. Unlocked automatically during the story shortly after unlocking your HQ.
Gigina. Found in Arenside once you unlock your HQ. You also must be level 9 or higher.
Martha. Found to the east in the outside area of your HQ once you unlock it.
Ormond. Can be found in the Abandoned Mine after getting your HQ. Bring him 3 Iron Ores to recruit him (you can find them in most caves).
Galdorf. Can be found in the first room of the Abandoned Mine after unlocking your HQ. You will have to bring him a Palenight Mail. You can find one next to where you met Ormond.
Hiro. Talk to him in the Abandoned Mine after unlocking your HQ to recruit him.
Falward. Can be found in the large building to the north-west in Altverden Village after unlocking your HQ. Give him 10 herbs to recruit him.
Frida. Can be found close to the south-west corner in Werne Village after unlocking your HQ. Talk to her and she will join you.
Wyler & Marin. First, go to Bounty Hill and talk to Wyler. You will then have to go to 3 spots in the starting section of Bounty Hill in order and defeat the enemies.
Kerrin. Can be found next to the hut in Dappled Forest. You can find the hut by going right as soon as you enter. Give her 20 Lumber to recruit her. You can find Lumber in most forest areas.
Gieran. Found in Greatwood-East. You will need to give him the Rune Of Conservation. You will find this rune automatically after defeating the story boss that you encounter in this same area.
Kallathor. Obtained automatically after finishing the Proving Grounds.
Chron. Found just inside the gates to your HQ after finishing the Proving Grounds.
Squash. Found in The Treefolk Village after finishing the Proving Grounds. To recruit him you will need to bring him a Sparklestone. You can get them by defeating Phantombirds in the central part of Dappled Forest.
Pastole. Found in Twinhorne East. Talk to him to recruit him.
Mariette. Found in Twinhorne East. She will ask you to retrieve her charm. To do this, go to The Greatwood-South and enter random battles until you find one with 3 Rabbit Heroes & 2 Rabbit Archwitch enemies as well as a chest. Open the chest to get the charm. Return it to Mariette and she will join you.
Perrielle & Janquis. They will both join you automatically during the Hishahn story arc.
Kurtz. Can be found in Hishahn. You will need to bring him the Grilled Tutuva Recipe. You can get it by talking to the NPC in The Treefolk Village after talking to Kurtz.
Huang. Can be found in Hishahn. He will want you to catch a Wheel-Eye-Bream. You can find them by fishing at the spot near The Seaside Cavern. These fish are rare and can take a while to find. If you run out of fish at that spot, just wait a for a bit for them to respawn.
Nell. Can be found in Hishahn. Talk to him to recruit him.
Riufan. Found in Hishahn. If you are level 32 or more he will fight you. Will the fight to recruit him.
Carrie. Unlocked automatically during the story (come back to Hishahn after getting to the dead end in the the Old town and walk around for a while).
Paquia & Mandie. Talk to Paquia in Aranside after finishing the Hishahn story arc. Then bring her 5 Regular Eggs (these will drop from the egg enemies in the first few open world areas).
Glen. Can be found near the west most house in Arenside after finishing the Hishahn story arc. Beat him at cards to recruit him and unlock the cards minigame.
Pieter. Can be found in Werne Village after finishing the Hishahn story arc.
Isha. Can be found next to the big fountain in Eltisweiss after finishing the Hishahn story arc. You will first have to find a black cat. The cat can be found in the south-west corner of Eltisweiss. After that, Isha will ask you to find a Cockatrice Egg. You can find one by going to The Mountain Pass Homeward. Here, look for a random battle with a chest in it. Open the chest to get the egg. After giving the egg to Isha, she will ask you to deliver a package to the Inn in Arenside. After that, talk to Isha to recruit her.
Douglas. Can be found in the Blacksmith’s shop in Eltisweiss after finishing the Hishahn story arc and leveling up your HQ to level 2. Give him 10 Iron Ores to recruit him (they can be found in most caves).
Larla. Can be found in the Eltisweiss Inn after finishing the Hishahn story arc. She will only join you if you send a team out on an expedition and then get the “Epic Success” rating (to do this, build the mission guild at HQ).
Maureus. Can be found in Mountain Path Homeward after finishing the Hishahn story arc. You will need a character in your party with at least 300MP for him to join you.
Faye & B’baba. You will have to follow these steps to recruit these 2 heroes.
You will find Faye in the outside area of your HQ after finishing the Hishahn story arc.
Talk to B’baba in Daphan (north-west house) to recruit her.
Build the Divination Parlor at HQ and talk to B’baba there.
Find Faye talking to Yusuke on the rooftops of the HQ (must have recruited Yusuke).
Talk to B’baba.
Find Faye talking to Francesca in the HQ infirmary (leftmost room on the same floor as B’baba).
Talk to B’baba.
Find Faye talking to Yume (must have recruited Yume) in the middle of the next floor up from B’baba.
Melridge, Bernard, Seign, Pohl, Valentin & Hildi. Unlocked automatically during the story.
Leon. Found close to the western exit of your HQ after getting it to level 2.
Fume. Found at the end of the second section of Dappled Forest after finishing the Hishahn story arc. She will only join if you have unlocked the mission guild at HQ.
Jorhan. Can be found in Hishahn after finishing the Hishahn story arc. You will have to bring him a Yellow Rose Censer. To do this, first defeat Scarab enemies in the Eastern Desert open world area to get Unknown Antiques. Then get them appraised until you get one.
Aire. Can be found in the south-west corner of Hishahn after finishing the Hishahn story arc. She will only join if you have a hero with 135 or more speed in your party.
Syd. Found in Hishahn near the blacksmith shop after finishing the Hishahn story arc. He will join if you have your HQ at level 2 or more and you bring him the materials he asks for.
Hakugin. Found in the southeast corner of Daphan village. She will join you if you have Mio in your party.
Lam. Found in Daphan Village. She will join you if you have Riufan in your party.
Enoe. Can be found in Daphan Village. He will join you if you have unlocked the Mission Guild at your HQ.
Code L. Can be found in the rune shop in Daphan Village. He will join you if you have a Rune Of Currents. You will get one automatically during the Hishahn story arc or find one in a chest in the Ice Cave later.
Reyna. Found in Dadavin. You will need to inflict 1500 DMG on her on normal difficulty and about 1700 on hard.
Prunella. Found in Dadavin Inn. Give her 100000 Baqua and she will join (she will return 50000).
Rody. Found in the lower area of Dadavin. First, get a “Unknown Pocket-Watch” (one can be found in a chest in The Seaside Cavern). Then get it appraised by Rody to get the Pearl Pocket-Watch. Finally, talk to him and he will join you.
Stadler. Found in Impershi’arc. Defeat him on the battlefield to recruit him.
Cabana. Found outside the Impershi’arc Inn. He will join you if you have your HQ at level 2.
Quinn. Found in Impershi’arc (you must be at least level 37). Talk to her. Then talk to her again near the sand ship icon on the map in Impershi’arc to travel to a new location. Here examine the big holes in the ground until you fight the boss 3 times. After the 3rd fight, she will join you.
Skyd & Yuferius. Obtained automatically during the Impershi’arc story arc.
Scarlet. You can find scarlet in Impershi’arc after finishing the Impershi’arc story arc. Win the race to recruit her.
Milana. Unlock the Rune Shop at your HQ and then unlock the “Rune Shop: Sell Shards” upgrade. Then talk to Milana in the rune shop at your HQ to recruit her.
Yaelu & Ivy. Obtained automatically after controlling Seign in Ardinale.
Clarke. Found next to the big fountain in Ardinale City. To recruit him you will have to purchase “The Star-Cross’d Lovers script” at the general store in Ardinale. This is a temporary item and will only SOMETIMES be available at the shop (the shop will refresh every 30 minutes).
Dalton. Found outside the Inn in Twinhorne East after finishing the Ardinale story arc. You will need your HQ at level 3 and have unlocked the “Mission Task 1” upgrade for him to join.
Durlan. Found in the Abandoned Mine after finishing the Ardinale story arc. He will join you if you have your HQ at level 3 or more and have unlocked the “Mission Task 1” upgrade.
Milhu. Obtained automatically during the story after the Ardinale City arc.
Marisa & Garoo. Obtained automatically during the story shortly after the Ardinale City arc.
CJ. Found at the entrance of the outside area of your HQ after recruiting Garoo and Isha. After talking to her, you will find her at the entrance of the Runebarrows Dungeon (close to the village where you start the game). If you have Garoo and Isha in your party you can go inside. Finish the dungeon and beat the boss to recruit CJ.
Aleior. After recruiting Marisa, talk to her in your HQ (MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS BEFORE ADVANCING THE STORY, IF SHE MOVES INTO THE OTHER ROOM YOU WILL MISS THIS HERO). Next, with Marisa in your party, talk to the NPC in Altverden Village. Then, finally, talk to Aleior in the Abandoned Mine close to the save in the middle of the dungeon.
Goldsmid. Found in Yarnaan. He will join you if you have someone in your party with 180 or more strength.
Alwe & Nil. Obtained automatically during the story in Yarnnan.
Chandra. After recruiting Code L and Stadler, go to your HQ and build the Drill Ground. Then, go there and listen to the soldiers talk about a dragon. Now, with Code L in your party, head to Elroad and defeat the dragon.
Rudy. Unlocked automatically during the story after the Ice Cave.
Selbineth. Get your HQ to level 3. Then build the Mysterious Room. Go down to the mysterious room and attempt the first challenge. After the challenge (you can lose) she will join you.
Lilwn. Unlocked automatically during the story soon after the Ice Cave.
Euma & Kassius. Unlocked automatically during the story.
Foxiel. Can be found in Athrabalt after finishing the Ice Cave during the story. To recruit her, talk to Kurtz in the restaurant at HQ (must have recruited him and built the restaurant) to get the dish she was looking for.
Wayve. Unlocked automatically during the story during your visit to Snowpeak Pass.
Yulin. Unlocked automatically during the story once you visit Twinhorne West.
ONCE YOU UNLOCK YULIN, I RECOMMEND YOU NOW UNLOCK THE REST OF THE HEROES (EXCLUDING STORY RELATED) BEFORE YOU CONTINUE WITH THE STORY. IF YOU CONTINUE MUCH MORE WITHOUT GETTING THEM YOU WILL MISS THE FINAL HERO OF THE GAME!!!
Rohan. Found in the Twinhorne West Inn. He will join you if your HQ has a population of at least 5000.
Hogan. Found on the pier in Twinhorne West. he will join you if you have made at least 50000 in profit from buying and selling items at the bazaars.
Momo. Found in the southeast corner of Hishahn after visiting Twinhorne West during the story. She will take you to The Seaside Cavern. After defeating the boss there, she will join you.
Aoi. Found in Twinhorne East after visiting Twinhorne West during the story. If you have Iugo in your party she will fight you. Defeat her and she will join.
El Alicanto. Found at the top of Snowpeak Pass after visiting Twinhorne West during the story. Defeat him in a duel to recruit him.
Allaby. Found inside the Inn at your HQ after visiting Twinhorne West during the story (you may have to level up your HQ before she appears).
Galladur. Found in the proving Grounds after visiting Twinhorne West during the story. You can find him just left of the switch you use to spin the rooms. Win the battle and he will join.
Shixeen. After recruiting Glen, build the Card Shop at HQ and then get the Extra Pack upgrades. After opening packs and getting 120 different cards, Shixeen will appear in the card shop. Defeat her and she will join.
Celia. After recruiting Kurtz and opening the restaurant at HQ, go to the restaurant and talk to Kurtz. Then, talk to the chef near the counter. This will start the first of many cooking minigames. After winning, return every 10 minutes for another round of the minigame. After 10 rounds you will have to go to the seaside cave to get the Scroll Of Heaven (location below). After giving the Scroll Of Heaven to Kurtz, win another 6 rounds of the minigame to recruit Celia.
Dijkstra. Found in Twinhorne East after visiting Twinhorne West during the story. Talk to him to travel to a new area. Reach the end of the area and defeat the boss to recruit him.
Reid & Dr. Corque. You can find Reid in the southwest corner of Eltisweiss after unlocking your HQ. Talk to him and then head to Dr. Corque’s house in Eltisweiss (location below). This will unlock the Beigoma minigame. To recruit these 2 heroes you will have to follow a long quest that takes you around the world playing Beigoma. You can find a full guide HERE.
ONCE YOU HAVE ALL THE ABOVE HEROES, YOU ARE SAFE TO CONTINUE THE STORY.
Markus. Obtained during the story.
Goldwyn, Elekra, Maxim, Vorrdice, Viesskin & Lakian. Obtained during the story.
Leene. This hero will only join you if you have recruited all other 119 heroes after defeating Dux Aldrict on the battlefield (story-related).
