Psychonauts 2 Scavenger Hunt Side Quest Guide (All Critical Asset Locations)

In this guide we will show you where to find all 16 Critical Assets to finish the "Scavenger Hunt" side quest in Psychonauts 2.

#1 Psychonauts Name Plaque. Can be found in the Motherlobe, take the “Agents” door and then stick to the left wall, now just examine the white door.

#2 Enemy Surveillance Device. From the centre room of the Motherlobe take the “Classroom” door, here stick to the right side wall and enter the artifact storage room, inside burn the painting and use the projection skill to open the door to the right, the critical item will be inside.

#3 Astronaut Ice Cream. In The Motherlobe take the “Nerve Center” door, in the room with a lot of screens look for one that is green, interact with it and then look for another green screen, just repeat until one drops the Astronaut Ice Cream.

#4 Day Old Sushi. Found in the cafeteria area in The Motherlobe.

#5 Deck Of Cards. Go to the bowling alley in The Motherlobe, once inside use Telekinesis to through the bowling ball at the pins, do this a few times until the deck of cards comes out of the hole.

#6 Agent Orientation Laserdisc. For this one go to The Quarry, here head straight across and enter Otto’s Lab, inside stick to the right side wall until you see a hall with electricity on the floor, use the ball to get across.

#7 Unexploded Bomb. From the start of The Quarry take a left and head towards the Psychoisolation building, as soon as you get to the door take a right and continue on this path until the end where you will find a bonfire just before the entrance to The Questionable Area?, light the bonfire to get up onto the wood held up by a crane, you will find the unexploded bomb here.

#8 Psytanium Knife. In The Quarry take a right at the start and use the air pipe to get up to the upper level, here jump across the rock formations on your left to enter the cave, the knife is on the highest column.

#9 Novelty Mug. In The Questionable Area? go into the pancake shaped building, here use projection on the door at the end to enter it, you will find the mug here.

#10 Switchblade Hatchet. In The Questionable Area? take the middle path towards the main family camp, on the way you will come across a waterwheel that is spinning really fast, use your slow down time skill on it and then ride it to the roof where you will find the critical asset.

#11 Human Skull. From the start of The Questionable Area? take the left hand side path through the woods until you get to a funicular, the skull is on the left side train. (If you have not repaired it yet check out THIS GUIDE)

#12 Can Of Corn. From the start of The Questionable Area? take the centre path and then cross the broken bridge, after the bridge stay on the left to find some rock that will allow you to jump over the little lake, the other side of the water you will find a cave, in the cave light the bonfire and use it to get up to the ledge with the critical asset.

#13 Mini Murder Bug Bot. This one is found in the Green Needle Gulch area, go to the round pink building (the closes one to the start of the level) and go to the top floor, here burn some roots to get to the outside (2nd floor), now just circle around the left side to find the critical asset.

#14 Signed Copy Of Mindswarm. From the centre building in Green Needle Gulch take the right exit, after jumping on a big plant take a right where you will find 2 NPCs, talk to Casssie, she will then give you the signed copy of Mindswam.

#15 Viking Helmet. From the centre building in Green Needle Gulch take the left exit, just before heading up the hill with all the honey on the floor, take aright and go behind the wooden hut with the bus to find the helmet.

#16 Beehive Shaped Like My Phone. From the centre building in Green Needle Gulch take the left exit, then go all the way up the hill covered with honey, once you get to the building at the top, go around the right side to find the final critical asset!
