House Of Ashes Old Dog Trophy / Achievement Guide
In this guide we will show you how to get the "Old Dog" trophy / achievement in The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes.
NOTE: For Balathu to be the main enemy in the game and not Kurun, you will have to make sure you choose to FIGHT TOGETHER in the prologue and that way Balathu will be the last alive and therefore be the enemy during the game!
For this trophy we will want to let Balathu to kill 2 people with his Spear, there are multiple chances for this to happen in the game, here they are.
Kill #1. This one is the easiest and almost unmissable, this one will be done during the prologue and if you follow the tutorials on screen this will happen automatically when you have to kill the slave.
Kill #2. During “The Assault” chapter, with Salim shoot the monster that is attacking Rachel, then with Rachel choose to SAVE Eric, then when Balathu throws the spear DO NOT press anything, this will get Rachel killed.
Kill #3. During the “Strange Aeons” chapter, when Nick is planting the explosives choose the “RETREAT” option, soon after this you will have to choose the “FORCEFUL” option to get Jason to go and save Salim, once Salim and Jason are about to get away Balathu will throw his spear, now DO NOT press anything and Jason will die by the spear.
